Westinghouse received five stars for design and overall satisfaction and four stars for performance, features and functionality, ease of use and value for money.
Westinghouse is part of the global Electrolux group and has been operating in Australia for over 80 years. The brand sells a range of laundry, kitchen and cooking appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, air conditioners, fridges and freezers. Westinghouse sells top loader washing machines with a range of drum capacities from 6kg to 12kg, as well as fast-wash programs and inverter motors.
Fisher & Paykel was awarded five stars for performance, features and functionality, ease of use, value for money and design, as well as four stars for overall satisfaction.
Fisher & Paykel is a New Zealand company well known for its range of home appliances. Operating since 1934, Fisher & Paykel products are now sold in over 50 countries. The brand’s top loader washing machines have drum sizes from 5.5kg up to 12kg, and have UV-sanitising, hygiene and allergy-friendly capabilities.
Whirlpool was rated five stars for performance, value for money and design, as well as four stars for features and functionality and overall satisfaction, and three stars for ease of use.
Whirlpool is a kitchen and laundry appliance company that offers its products in stores across Australia. With the largest drum size of the brands rated this year, coming in at 15kg, Whirlpool’s top loaders come with features including steam hygiene, a preset timer and antiseptic protection.
LG received five stars for value for money, and four stars for performance, features and functionality, ease of use, design and overall satisfaction.
LG Electronics is a Korean brand known for its technology and home appliances products. Select LG top loader washing machines come with built-in AI functions that can tailor wash settings based on weight and fabric type. Other features include an ‘allergy care’ cycle with steam and six washing motions.
Samsung received three stars across the board for performance, features and functionality, ease of use, value for money, design and overall satisfaction.
Samsung is another well-known name in the technology and appliances space, also originating in South Korea. Operating since 1938, when it started life as a grocery store, Samsung now offers a range of washing machines, including top-loaders that have previously taken the top spot in our Most Satisfied Customers award. The brand’s models have features such as a Heavy Duty+ and a ‘hygiene steam’ cycle, as well as a 20-year warranty on their digital inverter motors.
Haier received five stars for value for money and three stars for performance, features and functionality, ease of use, design and overall satisfaction.
Haier is an international home appliance brand that was founded in China in 1984. The brand’s top load washing machine range offers features such as a sterilising function using UV light, up to 4.5-star energy rating and up to 4-star water ratings.
